TDI during the Coronavirus health emergency

During the current outbreak of Coronavirus in the UK and Northern Ireland, TDI will be adjusting our working practices in line with Government advice and instruction. This post outlines how that is likely to affect our friends and clients.

TDI is committed to tackling sexual offending, and this mission is not affected in any way by the current outbreak of Coronavirus in the UK. However, as with the rest of the country, how we approach our work needs to be considered, to ensure that we keep ourselves and others safe.

With that in mind, we will be mothballing our office from Wednesday 18th March. The TDI team - Deborah, Beverley and Matt - will be working from home, where we will have access to all our emails, records and files. The one change you may notice is to the phones - when calling TDI you will go through to our answerphone, which we will pick up remotely. Responding may take a little longer than usual. When we call you, it won't be from our regular number, but from a mobile number.

Should any member of the team need to self-isolate or take time off with the virus, our automatic out of office emails will keep you updated on alternative sources of help and support.

In terms of training, we are not currently cancelling any existing bookings. Anyone who has bookings with us which no longer seem possible or appropriate should get in touch, and we will work out how to best re-arrange sessions. We are currently looking into the possibility of remote or online training, and hope to be able to roll out something of that sort if the emergency continues.

We are continuing to take training bookings, subject to considerations around the health and well-being of our training team and our clients.

We also continue to offer consultancy services, although these will be conducted remotely by phone, email and video-conference.

For all our friends and clients, we hope that you and those you care for come through this safe and well. We look forward to being able to see you face-to-face again as soon as is safely possible.

 - Deborah, Beverley and Matt
